Africa Achievers Awards 2011
Last Friday night I had the pleasure to attend the Africa Achievers Awards 2011 in Bradford. It was a great event not least because it was very positive and hopeful about some very difficult topics, including jiggers, to find out what they are try this - http://bit.ly/avWfnW .
It was eye opening to find out what people in Africa and elsewhere are doing about things in the vast continent of 52 countries and that this was happening in Bradford with the Lady Mayor, first Muslim female Lord Mayor, representatives from the Zambian and Zimbabwean embassies.
